NEW LOCATION

Cambridge Daycare is a licensed childcare facility located in the University/Strathcona area. We provide full-time care for children 0–6 years of age. Part-time and drop-in care is an option if spaces are available. Consultations are also done with families from the Stollery Children’s Hospital, who may require short-term care only. We understand that the needs of every family are different and do our best to accommodate. Currently our center has 67 licensed childcare spaces. We have two rooms under construction still. Once those rooms have been completed, our centre will provide care for 100 children and their families.

The program is family owned and operated. We are proud to say that our Cambridge family represents many different cultures from around the world. We celebrate our differences and learn from one another every single day.

Originally opened in 1987, right along Whyte Avenue, it has been owned and operated by Mircea and Doreta Bailesteanu since 1998. Since then the centre has gone through many changes, the biggest by far, has been designing, building, and moving locations in April 2022. The program continues to change and grow with the ever-evolving childcare trends and updates.
